About Centennial
Established as Toronto's first public college in 1966, Centennial College offers programs in business, communications, community and health studies, science and engineering technology, general arts, hospitality and transportation.

Progress Campus users have been enjoying our new Library and Academic Facility, as well as the Athletic and Wellness Centre, for a few months now and by all accounts both buildings have been very well received. Our gleaming new campus assets were featured on CityTV's Breakfast Television on November 15, when Centennial graduate Jennifer Valentyne dropped in for a closer look.

At the same time, renovations continue at Progress Campus, in part as a result of the new buildings, which have freed up space in the older campus blocks for improved services. Here is a glimpse of what you can expect to take place over the next eight months:

  • The vacated Library space in B-Block is being reconfigured to house the offices of the Centre for Organizational Learning and Teaching (COLT), Institute for Global Citizenship and Equity, Business Development, Continuing Education and the Centre of Entrepreneurship. The goal is to complete the Hub service centre by centralizing all of the remaining student services in one accessible area. The Centennial Bookstore will also be relocated there.
  • Additional renovations to the Hub will accommodate growing space requirements by the Centre for Students with Disabilities, Counselling, Enrolment, Student Life Enhancement Division (SLED) and the Assessment Centre. The vacated President's Office space will be renovated to create a new Career Centre and Student Success Centre.
  • The Student Residence and Conference Centre across the street on Progress Avenue is undergoing changes of its own. The School of Hospitality, Tourism and Culture requires new culinary labs to accommodate the continued growth of its hospitality-related programs. Two of the large ballrooms will be converted into permanent culinary lab space, including an international cuisine kitchen and a baking lab.
  • The Applied Research and Innovation Centre (ARIC) will move to new offices in D-Block from its present location at Morningside Campus. The Police Foundations lab to move to the third floor of D-Block.
  • The School of Community and Health Studies offices in E-Block will be consolidated, renovated and expanded, as will the School of Advancement offices.

We appreciate the community's cooperation as our renovation activities move ahead. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
