Progress Campus directions

  1. If arriving by car, park in Lot 2
  2. Follow the pedestrian walkway to the front entrance.
  3. Walk to the left, and take the stairs up to the third floor
  4. Continue to the left, and locate room D3-11

All applicants to Centennial are expected to demonstrate proficiency in subject(s) required for admission to the program(s) to which they have applied. A skills assessment provides applicants with an opportunity to demonstrate ability in courses or credits required by the program(s) selected. The majority of students will be required to complete a skills assessment for placement in their courses. Skills assessment sessions last between one and a half to four hours, depending on the program(s) chosen.

Under the following circumstances, skills assessments will be used to assess a student for admission to their program:

(i) Mature students (as defined above) who are not presenting academic history must complete a skills assessment for admission to programs that permit the substitution of prerequisite(s) with skills assessment(s).

(ii) Applicants to Fast-track or Graduate Certificate programs may be required to write skills assessments.

For more information to determine whether you should be writing the Centennial College skills assessment, please call 416 289-5300, or visit centennialcollege.ca.
