| Established as Toronto's first public college in 1966, Centennial College offers programs in business, communications, community and health studies, science and engineering technology, general arts, hospitality and transportation. | |
The Aboriginal Strategy for Access and Participation (ASAP) is aimed at increasing the number of Aboriginal learners accessing and participating in post-secondary education and training by developing specialized programs, offering apprenticeships and placements within desired fields in Aboriginal communities, and providing help with job searches and strengthening community partnerships. As one of the most diverse colleges in Ontario, Centennial College has proved to be adept at reaching out to and meeting the needs of the population it services. |
Goal
Our goal is to provide a vision of Aboriginal education that goes beyond threshold access. This is related to Centennial College's mission to educate students for career success. |
Statement of Diversity
Centennial College and its Board of Governors value and embrace diversity, equity and inclusion as fundamental to our mission to educate students for career success within a context of global citizenship and social justice. |
