'Show and Shine' car cruise, June 7

Centennial College is hosting its fifth annual "Show and Shine" cruise day on Sunday, June 7, from 10 am to 2 pm at Ashtonbee Campus in Scarborough.

Centennial graduates, employees and members of the public will be displaying their vintage, custom and tuner cars, trucks and motorcycles. You can show off your own car! New this year are local new-car dealers, who will be displaying their performance and hybrid vehicles to the public. Visitors will also have an opportunity to test drive selected cars.

The day will feature a barbecue, DJ and live band, gift bags, show prizes and plaques. Proceeds from a 50/50 draw will be directed to The Lesley Russell Scholarship, established to aid college students dealing with a serious or long-term illness.

Show and Shine is free to the public, while vehicle exhibitors are asked to pay $10 (free t-shirts to the first 100 exhibitors). Ashtonbee Campus is located at 75 Ashtonbee Road, one block north of Eglinton Ave. East and Warden Ave.

To exhibit, contact John Mifsud at 416-289-5000, ext. 7332 or e-mail jmifsud@centennialcollege.ca
