Students in Centennial College's Advertising programs are provided an extensive array of activities in which to participate, build their resume, make connections and better prepare them for a career in marketing communications.

Tilt Integrated Communications is a student-run communications agency at Centennial College. The student volunteers combine their energy, knowledge and fresh perspective to provide a wide range of communication activities for its clients. Students apply to do volunteer "work" in Tilt as a General Manager, Account Management, Media or Creative. They work on real local small businesses and services. Students also collaborate across programs to complete work for Clients including: Graphic Design, Event Marketing, Public Relations, Interactive and Corporate Videos.

New York Advertising Week began in 2003 and Centennial College was the first Canadian College to take their students to participate in the events, seminars and forums in New York. It's an experience students talk about long after they've graduated.

Competitions are a part of advertising and Centennial students participate in all that are available. Most recently student teams from Centennial placed 1st in a Creative competition and 2nd in an Integrated Marketing Competition.

Centennial's Annual Advertising Symposium is a day long event featuring major campaigns Centennial students developed for charitable organizations. Actual Clients have commented how insightful, strategic and creative the student presentations have been.
