Kristen Schnare, Account Coordinator, SID LEE; AAM Graduate 2010
"I didn't realize how valuable my experience in the advertising account management program was until I started my first job. It helped tremendously in reducing the steep learning curve that comes with your first account management position and gave me the confidence I needed to turn my internship into a full-time gig." |
John Krissilas, Account Planner, DraftFCB; AAM Graduate 2008
"The best part about the AAM Program? The chance to meet, work with, and grow alongside mature, like-minded people who are passionate about advertising. You will benefit from the camaraderie and networking that is fostered by the program for the rest of your career." |
Chris Rotolo, Ontario College Graduate Certificate, Advertising Account Management
"I gained everything I needed and more from this program. I learned a bit of everything. All the professors were still involved in the industry, and they had very specific knowledge and a large breadth of it. I wouldn't be where I am now if I hadn't taken the step and enrolled in the Advertising - Account Management Program." |
Shawna Powell, Ontario College Graduate Certificate, Advertising Account Management
"I have worked at two top advertising agencies in Toronto upon graduating Centennial College's Post-Grad Advertising Account Management program. I started at MacLaren McCann as an intern on the General Motors Retail account and was quickly hired on full-time. After a few months I transitioned on to the Chevrolet Brand team and continued to be a leader on the retail account. After a year at MacLaren McCann, and a very rewarding year, I needed a change. My General Manager and CEO were very upset that I was leaving, but excited for my future in advertising. I moved over to Lowe Roche with glowing recommendation from my co-workers and upper management at MacLaren McCann. I have been at Lowe Roche for three months now and absolutely love it. It is a privilege for me to working with Geoffrey Roche and Christina Yu on the Audi and Miele accounts. Their combined experiences and successes in advertising are great for me to learn from and grow with in my career. Only after being here for two weeks Geoffrey came out of his office and personally asked me to be on his new business pitch team. Which was a huge honour. MacLaren McCann was an agency of 700 people and I am now at an agency of 40....and it is amazing. Did I mention I have jumped from an Account Coordinator to a Business Manager. I would not have been able to be so successful so early in my career if it wasn't for the skills I gained in Centennial College's Post-Grad Advertising Account Management program. It was the best decision I made."
