What's advertising all about?

Advertising is much more than just making ads. Many people are involved in planning and developing ad campaigns.

Some of these people include:

  • Account Management:
The main liaison between the agency and the client, they are involved in every aspect of advertising. From developing the ad plan, sorting out the strategy and helping to sell the agency’s ideas to the client.
  • Media:
Charged with finding and delivering the right target—planners decide what media should be used and buyers negotiate with the media for the best programs and price.
  • Creative:
Copywriters develop the creative idea and write the words for electronic and print media.
