We also have industry breakfasts, field trips, guest speakers and lectures.

Who teaches the students? Our instructors are industry people who teach part time. Our full time faculty is actively involved within the industry and in research within the field.
What resources are available? In addition to the latest in computer technology, and faculty members and staff who are both knowledgeable and caring, students have access to a rich source of resource material through Centennial's Learning Resource Centre (LRC). In addition, the Interactive Digital Media program is in close contact with key industry players, and benefits from a committed group of mentors.
Will I need to purchase a laptop computer for this course? No, the lab is fully equipped with Mac computers. However, the majority of our students do have a computer at home, either PC or Mac. Also keep in mind that students do have access to the Centre and the labs after hours.
What is the campus like? At The Centre for Creative Communications, a student population of only 800 means attentive service and ready access to faculty, staff and facilities. Students at this lively campus all manipulate words or images, so there is always a creative atmosphere here. The campus is accessible by subway (Pape station). And within walking distance of The Centre is Toronto’s diverse Danforth Avenue, giving students easy access to shops, restaurants and pubs. Only 10 minutes away by car or subway is the busy uptown intersection of Bloor and Yonge. |
