How to Reach Us

Would you like to Volunteer?

There are many ways to be a part of this project. They range from hosting/producing your own show to working behind the scenes in production roles. Other volunteers will contribute editorial content to other people's productions. Would you like to be a correspondent at one of the college's campuses? Would you like to do movie or concert reviews for the station's weekly public affairs program? Let us know about your interests and expertise!

Our Mandate and Mission

  • Centennial College Internet Radio will exist as a service of the college. The station will offer programming of interest to the students at all campuses. It will also provide opportunities for students to become producers of radio programming.
  • Centennial Internet Radio will foster the spirit and goals of the college's Vision and Mission Statement. The service will contribute to the personal development of students and be a vital expression of the diversity of the student body.
  • Centennial Internet Radio will also extend the Signature Learning Experience by offering an additional platform for students to explore social justice, equity and environmental sustainability. The SLE-related programming will compliment the social media site, Humanracebook.com.
  • The on-air studio is located at the Centre for Creative Communications. The Centre houses all of the college's communications-related programs, including Journalism and Broadcasting and Film.

Our Programming

Centennial Internet Radio will be a reflection of life at the college. The programming will create a public forum for the discussion of students' concerns and issues. The station will present news and feature stories about activities and events at the college's campuses. The station will be an outlet for the students' creative talents; ranging from music to drama and public affairs journalism.

The Schedule

Centennial Internet Radio is launching its programs on a gradual basis, as volunteers are trained on the studio equipment and routines. Our first productions will go on air at six o'clock, Friday November 20, 2009.
