| Established as Toronto's first public college in 1966, Centennial College offers programs in business, communications, community and health studies, science and engineering technology, general arts, hospitality and transportation. | |
Sean Stuckless graduated from Centennial College's Corporate Communications and Public Relations program in 2005 and completed a work placement at Indian and Northern Affairs Canada. As a Regional Liaison Officer, Sean has gained experience in ministerial products, audits and evaluations, allegations and complaints, and access to information and privacy requests. He recently became an indeterminate employee as Intergovernmental Relations Officer. "The program taught me valuable professional skills and gave me hands-on experience, not easily gained elsewhere," Stuckless says. "Most importantly, it taught me how to value those skills and how to market myself in the industry." Stuckless has an undergraduate degree in English from the University of Toronto and an MA English from the University of Toronto. He says he decided to pursue a career in corporate communications and public relations because it complemented his university education and seemed like a dynamic industry, with chances for promotion and many different opportunities available across a broad range of sectors (financial, private sector, public sector). Stuckless enjoys day tripping, camping, and naturalizing his backyard in his spare time. To read more about more successful Corporate Communications and Public Relations program grads, click here. |
