About Centennial
Established as Toronto's first public college in 1966, Centennial College offers programs in business, communications, community and health studies, science and engineering technology, general arts, hospitality and transportation.

Centennial College’s Homecoming Weekend is scheduled Saturday, October 15. There are many fun events taking place, including an exclusive Alumni Concert in the new Athletic and Wellness Centre (AWC) on Saturday, October 15. The private performance is being given by the legendary 80's band, Spoons, to celebrate the grand opening of our new Athletic and Wellness Centre and Centennial’s 45th Anniversary.

With classic 80's hits like Arias & Symphonies, Nova Heart, Romantic Traffic and Old Emotions, Spoons helped to define a generation and new wave sound for years to come. And now with the release of Static in Transmission, and the new single You Light Up (see it now), you can catch them again at a private show just for you.

The Spoons concert is exclusive to Centennial College graduates, staff, faculty and students from all programs. The opening act for The Spoons will be the student or alumni musician or band who wins the Liberty Music Trax Talent Search Contest (see below).

The Homecoming Weekend will also feature the opening of the new Alumni Courtyard and the uncovering of the Alumni clock, and the Library and Academic Facility that opened in September 2011. For more information on the Spoons concert and scheduled events, click on the Agenda link to the left.
