Crystal covered the G20 Summits for SUN TV

A graduate of Dunbarton High School in Pickering, Ontario, Crystal Cossitt is a Centennial College/ UTSC Journalism Joint program graduate from 2009.

Cossitt interned at Sun TV in Toronto to work on their current affairs program Canoe Live. The 15-week placement gave her the opportunity to assist in all areas of a live television news broadcast such as booking guests for live on-air appearances.

Following her internship she continued to work for Sun TV as a freelance producer, as well as working as a communication specialist for WhereParentsTalk.com. She created and managed content on their website, including news of the day articles, blogs and social media.

During the G20 Summit in June 2010 in Toronto, Cossitt worked as a field producer Sun TV's one-hour G20 special. Cossitt also got the opportunity to work on Sun TV’s live municipal election coverage.

Cossitt is eager to be starting her new position with the Sun News Network as it launches in the spring.
