Centennial College is proud to be a part of a rich history of education in this province and in this city. We acknowledge that we are on the treaty lands and territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and pay tribute to their legacy and the legacy of all First Peoples of Canada, as we strengthen ties with the communities we serve and build the future through learning and through our graduates. Today the traditional meeting place of Toronto is still home to many Indigenous People from across Turtle Island and we are grateful to have the opportunity to work in the communities that have grown in the treaty lands of the Mississaugas. We acknowledge that we are all treaty people and accept our responsibility to honour all our relations.
Learn a living. In your field. Your community. Anywhere. We'll help you get there. With more accredited programs, pioneering research projects and partnerships that offer semesters or placements abroad. An education rooted in the principles of global citizenship, equity and social inclusion. All at Centennial College.
What are you interested in?
I never pictured myself in Special Event Planning. I read about Centennial College’s Special Event Planning program which was still relatively new at the time. I decided to take the leap, and I was not disappointed. Because the program is still new, I found there were a lot of professors interested in our feedback. My professors were extremely supportive and made me feel like I was more than a student number. After my two years at Centennial College, I was immediately hired into my industry via my co-op position. I was so grateful to have had the experience I did. My co-op position allowed me to expand my resume and opened doors in the professional industry that I never thought would be open to me. — Dana Paglia, Special Event Planning, Graduate
