Mandatory Requirements

Centennial Global Influencers will stay an average of 3-5 days at the College. During the residency, you  will be asked to deliver a minimum of:

  • Two student-focused lectures, workshops, or demonstrations – including at least one with an international component
  • One lecture, workshop, or demonstration aimed at Centennial faculty and our industry partners
  • One 10-15-minute video interview or presentation

Optional Activities

If you are interested in contributing more to the College, you may engage in the following optional activities, inter alia:

  • Lecture at private gala with College leaders, local leaders, and industry leaders
  • Conduct an interactive workshop/lecture/“town hall” with students, staff, and faculty from different (academic) departments who want to learn more about the influencer’s industry
  • Guest judge a student competition
  • Consult on student/instructor research/projects
  • Assist in development of case studies/curriculum

Stay Involved

The residency at Centennial is merely one part of a more robust relationship forged between you, as an expert,  and our College – this relationship is designed to be lifelong. These are a few ways you  might remain involved post-residency:

  • Participate in (virtual) guest lectures
  • Promote international opportunities for Centennial students (to get involved in your projects)

  • “Build Your Toronto Adventure” tourism afternoon (a half-day program designed by Centennial’s Tourism students)

  • A Centennial College ‘host’ who will guide you  throughout your  stay
