Inclusive Education for all Students: Embedding Universal Design for Learning and  Accessibility in our Curriculum

On January 18, 2017, Centennial Staff arrived at our new residence and event centre for this special event, discussing how to continue embedding accessibility into the finer of the college. The day began with opening remarks from Dr. Craig Stephenson, Vice President for Student and Community Engagement, followed by a keynote from Dr. Jeff Preston, motivational speaker and advocate for accessibility. After the keynote, the audience split off into three rounds of Concurrent Sessions, focus on topics like student mental health, Accommodations and Accessibility, and the use of technology to aid with both. The sessions concluded with remarks from Dr. Rahim Karim,  Associate Vice President, Partnerships, Pathways and Internationalization at Centennial College.
