Online Learning Tips
You can, of course, Google "online learning tips" and find numerous resources but you may find these two websites of particular interest. They focus on the importance of goals, active engagement, and wellness.
Device Loan Program
We are offering a limited supply of Chromebooks on loan to support "Teaching at a Distance," when all other options for obtaining a device have been exhausted.
All student services are being conducted electronically, virtually or by phone during "Teaching at a Distance."

International Student Advisors

Student Employment Advisors
Student Employment Advisors will work with you regarding career planning, resume/cover letter review, job searches, interview preparation, and on-the-job success tips.
Co-op Advisors are there to support your co-op program, and as you apply your classroom education to real-work experiences at your work site.
Centre for Accessible Learning and Counselling Services (CALCS)
CALCS is offering its full range of mental health, accessible learning, and accommodation support virtually. You can book an appointment online through our website, or contact us between the hours of 8:30 am – 4:30 pm.

The Place of Reconciliation for All Our Relations and Sean Kinsella (Director, the Eighth Fire) are available for community connection, concerns, and other needs raised by and for Indigenous students.

Offering a full suite of services online: learning strategies appointments, math drop-in, one-to-one tutoring, and learning circles. (What you would have received in person, you can now receive online.)
Students with questions can use AskOn chat (a collaborative initiative with all Ontario Colleges) and also send questions via email using the Ask the Library Online Form.
One-on-one appointments can be booked with librarians. Librarian Contact Information.
Students can conduct their research using Libraries' online resources (ebooks, streaming videos, and many other electronic resources) including access to databases on the Libraries website. Library Guides are tailored to programs, courses and topics and are a great place to start.
Centre for Academic English
Offering online English tutoring. If you wish to participate in online tutoring, log into myCentennial, click on Student Services and in the box that says Centre for Academic English, click Book an Appointment. You will receive an email through your @myCentennial account containing a link and instructions on how and when to meet with your online tutor.

Community Outreach Office
The Community Outreach Coordinators are available for community connection, concerns, and other needs raised by and for students and community members who need support and intervention to continue their studies. Students can join Community Outreach staff in real-time (Mon-Fri 8:30am-4:30pm) in our Virtual Friendship Space on MS Teams. Come ask questions, connect with other students, or just relax and chat.
