Your Obligations and the Law
Please also be advised that once you arrive in Toronto, masks or face coverings are mandatory:
- When travelling on the TTC public transit system (effective July 2, 2020)
- In all indoor public spaces, such as stores, libraries/community centres, and places of worship (effective July 7, 2020)
To be able to go on campus, you will also need to complete Centennial’s Campus Re-Entry Guidelines and Protocols Training Course. This series of modules is available online and will help prepare you to College facilities in a way that will ensure your safety and that of the College community.

In the event a student feels ill after self-isolating the following steps will be followed.
In case of emergency:
- Call 911
- As soon as you are able to inform, let Residence Life Coordinator/RA/hotel staff know so they can escalate to Centennial College representatives
*Symptoms of COVID-19 to call for emergency:
- Severe difficulty breathing (struggling for each breath, can only speak in single words)
- Severe chest pain (constant tightness or crushing sensation)
- Feeling confused (for example, unsure of where you are)
- Losing consciousness
In case of non-emergency:
- Take the COVID-19 assessment
- Follow the instructions from assessment which may include calling Telehealth Ontario at +1 866-797-0000
- Call a doctor via mobileDOCTOR app, if you need additional medical advice
Please note you need a valid guard.me policy number to access mobileDOCTOR service. To receive a policy number: If you are arriving in Canada earlier than your program starting date, please reach out to the SaGE department at Centennial College regarding how you can get your policy early. You can email registration@centennialcollege.ca or speak to their Quarantine Liaison from the College.

Maple provides access to doctors, Canada wide, on your phone, tablet or computer anytime, anywhere. - Let their Residence Life coordinator/RA know so they can document and connect to Centennial College representatives as necessary
- Follow doctors/telehealth instructions given in step (1&2) – ex. If student has been prescribed medication or follow up appointment
