School of Hospitality, Tourism and Culinary Arts Academic Scholarships
Unlike OSAP, scholarships are money that you don’t have to repay. Scholarships are funds donated by individuals or corporations to assist you with the financial challenges of pursuing post-secondary studies.
The Academic scholarships on this webpage do not require an online application. Centennial College will select the recipient of these scholarships based on your academic performance at Centennial College. Awarded to two full-time students currently enrolled in the second year of the Hospitality – Hotel Operations Management (1807/1837) program during the Winter term. The students must have been enrolled in the same program, full-time during the previous academic year. The students with the highest cumulative grade point average above 3.0 during their first three semesters of studies will be the recipient of this award.

Awarded to a full-time student currently enrolled in the second semester of the Food and Beverage Management program (1808) during the Winter term. The recipient will be a student who shows consistent improvement in leadership skills and academic excellence with a desire to be in catering operations.

Awarded to three full-time students currently enrolled in the third semester of the Baking and Pastry Arts Management program (1813) or the Baking Skills program (1810) during the Fall term. Three students will also be awarded in the Winter term. The student must have been enrolled second semester of the same program, full-time during the previous term. The student with the highest cumulative grade point average above 3.0 during their first two semesters of studies will be the recipient of this award.

Awarded to a full-time student currently enrolled in the second year of the Tourism program (1824) during the Fall term. The student must have been enrolled in the same program, full-time during the previous academic year. The student with the highest cumulative grade point average above 3.0 during their first two semesters of studies will be the recipient of this award.

Awarded to a full-time student enrolled in the Culinary Arts Food & Beverage Management program (1808/1848) or the Hotel Operations Management program (1807/1837). The student must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. The students considered must be currently registered in courses HOSP 444 or FBMP 444 Work Integrated Learning and are completing experiential hours at Helen Lawson’s Tim Horton’s locations. The student with a combined highest final evaluation score and cumulative grade point average will be awarded the scholarship. Evaluation scores are based on good attendance, work ethic, and team player as identified by through final evaluation score.

The recipient will be selected based the feedback provided on the Work Integrated Learning evaluation.
