Description: This course will introduce students to the basics of quantitative and qualitative analysis of the effectiveness of interactive media. Analytics are the measurement of success or failure of a given project and allow designers, producers and purchasers of media to measure the true the nature of client interaction. Topics include: use of spreadsheets as a way of calculating and displaying data, basics of analytics, how to define metrics and KPIs, various data collection methods to track data, and evaluation of interactive media from an ROI perspective.
