||In this course, students will learn the necessary skills required to write and plan effective communications to successfully brand and publicize a festival, conference or special event. Platforms such as social media, publications and placement of materials will be discussed. The writing of materials to ensure branding and promotion before, during and post event will also be included. This course will also include the management of media on-site at the event. Students will also gain knowledge in design and implementation of hybrid/virtual conferences and events and how this drives traffic to the face-to-face event in future years and can develop into a revenue stream.
