In today’s globalized world, the ability to communicate effectively across borders and cultures is crucial in building relationships with co-workers and stakeholders. This course helps students become more effective in personal and professional interactions through better understanding of various cultures and their communication norms and expectations. Students learn how their own cultural backgrounds and values differ from others’, and identify especially the hidden aspects of cultures in order to deal with cultural differences. This course prepares students to work in a multicultural environment where they communicate globally, often in several countries.
