| Description | Students will apply the principles of engineering mechanics from MT 242 to the analysis of machines and their elements. They will apply the basic definitions of displacement, velocity, and acceleration and use CAD software to produce graphical solution of linkages and mechanisms. They will analyze cams and gear trains. It is intended to bridge the gap between the theoretical study and the application to practical mechanisms. |
