| Description | This course introduces many of the current technologies used to implement ebusiness solutions. An introduction to the basic strategies and techniques required to develop a web-enabled solution will help you plan and develop a well-designed portable website that combines effective navigation with the balanced use of graphics, text and colour. Basic HTML skills will be applied to build web pages and sites with consideration given to the effects of browser and computing platform on design choices. This course further expands upon the basic strategies by enhancing ebusiness websites by creating dynamic web pages that interact with databases in order to increase the functionality and customization. Technologies used will include client-side scripts, server-side scripts, and compiled server programs. Programming concepts will also introduced in order to more effectively create and debug both client-side and server-side scripting. |
