Description: This course will explore current trends, methodologies and practices in event sales and marketing. Topics will include: professional, legal and ethical obligations included in preparing bids and responding to tenders and request for proposal (RFP). Students will research socio-economic forces and competitive advantages, population dynamics and demographic forces that affect the industry. Using marketing research and trend analysis, students will learn to develop an effective sales and marketing plan.
