This course examines the key elements required in evaluating the physical fitness status of individuals. Various assessment strategies, tests and tools are examined as well as practical hands-on application of both the assessment of and interpretation of testing activities. This course will also provide students with an understanding of basic math calculations as needed for a career in the fitness industry. Calculating assessment results, designing fitness programs and interpreting fitness data and research is essential for fitness professionals in their practice.
