A course on characteristics of fluids and particularly concepts of Density, Specific Weight, Specific Gravity (or Relative Density), Mass, Weight, Load, Force and Pressure. Major topics are Pressure Equations, Manometers, Liquid Force on Submerged areas, Buoyancy and it applications, Bernouill’s Equations, Conservation of Energy and its applications, Pump and Related Calculations (Head losses, Total head, Power required by Pumps, Efficiency and Electricity cost to operate Pumps).
