Description: It is important to recognize that nutrition plays a vital role in the health care industry.
Upon completion of this course, learners will be able to identify factors that affect food intake and apply it to basic menu planning principles based on Canada’s Food guide. Learners will explore nutritional needs and the factors affecting intake throughout the life cycle. Learners will understand the personalization of food and nutrition by therapeutic and texture modification.
