||This course is designed to introduce the students to basic nutrition and how it relates to esthetics. Topics of proper nutrition and importance of vitamins and minerals are explored as they are primary factors in maintaining the skins health. Students will also learn about the importance of physical movement and its place in a spa. From yoga and meditation to weight lifting and cardio exercises, students are introduced to a new kind of spa. Particular attention will be paid to Body-Mind-Spirit philosophy focusing on putting it all together.
