This course is designed to provide the student with the principles, skills and practice strategies for planning, implementing and evaluating workplace wellness programs that meet the multi-dimensional needs of all organizational stakeholders. Students will examine various theories, models, processes and interventions commonly used to gain an understanding of organizational structures and business decision-making strategies. Diversity issues in the workplace will be examined along with various strategies to address the unique characteristics across the many sectors of the Canadian workplace population.
