Cannabis Cultivation Operations

Progress Campus Exterior

Credential: Part-time Certificate Program
Start Date: Fall 2020
Location: Progress Campus

Centennial College’s part-time Cannabis Cultivation Operations program provides a unique and innovative academic offering to a wide variety of learners, with a potential pathway to employment. There is an ongoing need for well-trained staff in cultivation facilities across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), in Ontario and the rest of Canada.

The cannabis industry requires employees with specialized skills, high-level professionalism and knowledge of regulatory compliance. Regulated facilities need specialized talent to work in cultivation operations, quality assurance and quality control, processing, consumer education and other in-demand roles. Some of our courses will be offered at different cannabis licensed facilities in the GTA to allow learners to acquire a variety of hands-on experience, which employers have come to expect.
