The School of Communications, Media, Arts and Design is moving toward offering programs that are student-oriented, offer flexible delivery and are less dependent on the lab space at the campus.
We’ve launched a numbers of laptop programs that have been very successful and are well-received by students.

A laptop that is cost-effective for you and suits your budget and program requirements can be purchased from any retail seller outside the college. Some retailers offer educational pricing.
In addition, Apple has set up an online store for Centennial College students and staff. This online Apple store can be accessed from within myCentennial.
Yes! You can subscribe and/or buy software at educational prices directly from the vendor. MS Office is available to current students as a download through myCentennial. Please refer to the software requirements for your specific program.
Most laptops are covered under manufacturer’s warranty for a limited time.
While the IT department at the college will assist with issues related to myCentennial or eCentennial login, they cannot provide hardware or image-related assistance. This may breach the manufacturer’s warranty.
Please refer to the 'Minimum Recommended Hardware Specifications' for your program on the Mobile Learning Programs page. If your laptop can run the ‘Minimum Required Software’ for your program then you can use your laptop
