Dr. Muhamamd T. Alam is a Professor in the School of Engineering Technology and Applied Science at Centennial College. Dr. Alam received B.Sc. in Computer Science from North South University, M.Sc, in Computer Science from Oklahoma State University, M. Eng. in Electrical Engineering from University of Toronto, and Ph.D. in Information Technology from Bond University. Being IPRS scholar, Dr. Alam worked as R&D scientist at Boeing, and held several positions in the IT industry and academia in the past 16 years. He served as sessional lecturer for McMaster University, Ryerson University, Bond University, Central Queensland University and at several career colleges. His research interest includes cloud computing, mobile computing, LTE, biometric system security, machine learning and CS in education. He is involved in applied research project as a principal investigator funded by CVTA grant and Clauusehound. Dr. Alam authored a book on 3GPP IP Multimedia Subsystem and published his work in several refereed journal and conference proceedings. He is a member of IEEE since 2002.
