At Career Services and Co-operative Education, our staff work with students and graduates to provide you with career planning and job search tools to transition from education to employment, from the first semester to two years after graduation. 

How to get in touch: If you’re a student, you can visit HireCentennial by logging into myCentennial, clicking on Student Services tab, clicking on HireCentennial, or simply 416-289-5233 today to book an appointment. Or you can come visit us. Walk-in Hours at Progress Campus are Mondays to Thursdays from 2:00 PM to 3:45 PM, and Fridays from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM.  Walk-in Hours are available at Progress and Morningside Campus. Please check the events calendar on HireCentennial for the walk-in schedule.

Services and resources for current students and recent graduates

Career planning and counselling, available for up to two years after graduation. Book an appointment for assistance with resumes and cover letters, job search strategies, interview preparation and simulation, Linkedin development and more.

HireCentennial is a career preparation and job search portal for Centennial students and graduates. It features:

  • Full-time, part-time, on-campus, summer and volunteer opportunities with job alert options.
  • Samples of program-specific resumes and cover letters.
  • Job search and interview tips.
  • Online career tools, including Magnet, InterviewStream, TypeFocus and Career Cruising.
  • Appointment booking with an Employment Advisor for resume/cover letter, job search, interview, LinkedIn profile and portfolio assistance.
  • A calendar of career workshops and events.
  • The Career Success Guide, available through e-Centennial as a series of four online modules that will help you clarify your career goals and provide tips on how to reach them. To register, log into eCentennial. On the My Home page, click on the My Tools context menu and select Self Registration/ Under Course Offering Name, click on the Career Success Guide link. Then, click Register, Submit and Finish.
  • Co-op education programs to help you gain work experience related to your Business, Engineering or Transportation program.
