Students are encouraged to participate in as many programs that align with their own wellness needs and goals. Students are restricted to one gift card, administered once within the semester and at a maximum value of $40. If a student meets the eligibility criteria for multiple programs, they will receive a single SkipTheDishes gift card at the highest value. For example, if a student attends 3 live Wellness Wednesday sessions and participates in a Peer Listener session, they will receive one SkipTheDishes gift card valued at $30.
Students can participate in the Thriving in Action Self-Paced course to complete the activities on their own time and earn a reward. Students are asked to submit a Padlet response and write a discussion post on a weekly basis for at least 4 weeks to be eligible for a $40 SkipTheDishes gift card.
All attendance of live and self-paced sessions are recorded and tracked. You will be contacted by a member of our Health and Wellness staff regarding your gift card within two weeks of becoming eligible for further instructions.
Once you have completed the required sessions to earn a Skip the Dishes Gift Card, you will be contacted via your myCentennial email account to confirm receipt of a gift card. Once you have confirmed you would like to receive a SkipTheDishes gift card, we will send you the gift card and ask that you confirm you have received the gift card successfully via e-mail and enjoy!
SkipTheDishes recommends opening the app or webpage in its own browser. Enter the code completely and double check all characters. If you encounter issues with you gift card, try closing and re-opening the app or browser.
