Cyber Security Awareness Campaign
With the heightened focus on the cybersecurity industry, the college is taking a proactive stance through cybersecurity awareness campaign to foster security consciousness in our every day online and offline activities. In the course of this month and subsequent months, the ITS will be sharing simple steps you can take to protect yourself. ITS will also be sending actions that can be taken in the event of a breach or any other cybercrime.
Centennial College will be resuming its Cyber Security Awareness campaign from last fall this February 2018! The campaign is aimed at raising awareness of community members to be more vigilant in their online activities by practicing safe online habits. During the next few weeks, we will be sharing information on topics like Phishing, Malware, Password and other tips for staying safe online. We will also be hosting Cyber Security Awareness Booths at different campus locations for students and staff to attend. Practicing safe online habits is a shared responsibility we all have a part of, whether at home, in the workplace, or in our communities. Do your part be Cyber Security smart!
