Data Centre Maintenance Affecting Banner Modules Starting March 12 at 6:30 PM to March 13 at 9:00 AM Update

UPDATE: A previously scheduled March 5, 2021 Data Centre Maintenance has been rescheduled for Friday, March 12, 2021.  

Centennial College Physical Resources is performing major electrical upgrades at Morningside Campus this weekend, which requires a power outage period for the Information Technology Services Data Centre.  This work is part of proactive upgrades that will improve the Data Centre cooling mechanism and connect it to backup generators already used for the rest of the infrastructure in this space. 

Information Technology Services has approved a maintenance window as follows:

Friday, March 12 starting at 6:30 PM and ending Saturday, March 13 at 9:00 AM.

Impacted Services and Clients: 

Banner will continue to remain online during the power outage, with the exception of the following modules:

  1. Step 2 of International Education Admission Steps - Centennial College Online Application Form
  2. T2202A - Tuition Reimbursement - Unavailable for Students
  3. OWA - Access to OCAS web applications for international students – Unavailable for Students
  4. BSAC - Banner Student Aid Module – Unavailable for Students
  5. Banner Workflow - Unavailable for Employees

Thank you for your patience and understanding. All services will be restored to normal operation by Saturday, March 13 at 9:00 AM.
