In June 2013, Centennial announced its partnership with Environics Analytics (EA), a leading marketing and analytical services company. With EA’s ENVISION micromarketing software, marketers and business professionals can easily gain customer insights, analyze their customers, and launch targeted marketing campaigns. The software includes EA’s famous segmentation system, PRIZM C2, which classifies Canada’s neighbourhoods into 66 lifestyle types, such as Young Digerati, Cosmopolitan Elite, and Newcomers Rising. With the partnership, Centennial’s diploma and graduate certificate marketing programs can teach the popular industry tool.

The School of Business offers the two-year Business – Marketing program and the advanced diploma program with a co-operative option called Business Administration – Marketing. These programs were initially signed up to have licence to ENVISION. Joining the group is Marketing - Research & Analytics, which is a postgraduate program that fittingly teaches about marketing research and will gain valuable benefits by having EA’s software. ENVISION training launched in the fall 2013 and winter 2014 semesters.

The field of Marketing Research is vastly expanding and continues to see growth and potential in many years ahead. Having EA’s ENVISION software will prepare Centennial’s marketing students in the competitive job market. Centennial students are the first in Canada to graduate from a marketing program with ENVISION training, as they receive a college diploma and industry certification upon graduation.
