| Description | This course is part of the curriculum for the full time accounting program and is also of interest to continuing education students. The Certified General Accountants Association recognizes this course. The course examines advanced topics related to the financial management of organizations and follows the introductory, prerequisite course, ACCT- 224, Corporate Finance 1. Instructional methods include lectures, class discussion and problem solving with an emphasis on case studies. Specific topics covered are: the valuation of financial assets, cost of capital, capital budgeting at various levels of risk, leases, financial and operating leverage and dividend policy. |
