Program Overview
Art + Design Foundation Studies is an accelerated visual art fundamentals program that will allow you to nurture your artistic talents and build new creative and practical skills. Established in 1974, this program is a unique blend of traditional and digital art that will prepare you with the critical basics for a career in art and design, animation and game design.
In this program you will:
- Build your portfolio and be prepared for more specialized programs in Digital Animation, Interactive Digital Media, Fine Arts Studio, Game Design or Graphic Design Media.
- Study a wide range of courses from traditional approaches in drawing, life drawing and three-dimensional design, to introductory courses in digital imaging, animation and digital design.
- Develop a familiarity with digital media complemented with a practical understanding of drawing, colour theory and 3D art and design.
- Develop your creative and practical skills in the studio.
