Program Overview

The majority of Canadians work in office settings, particularly in urban areas. In the Office Administration – General program students develop a complete range of administrative support skills needed to succeed in today’s office environment. With small class sizes and experienced professors you will sharpen your hands-on skills in areas such as word processing, document production, office procedures, computer applications, and transcription, while polishing your communication and human relations techniques.

This program provides training for entry into a variety of administrative assistant positions. Successful graduates may apply their certificate to one of the two-year Office-Administration Diploma programs that focus on medical and health, legal or executive office settings.
