Marsha Astrop

Professor, Practical Nursing

Marsha Astrop has been a Coordinator within the Practical Nursing (PN) Program since September 2019. She has worked at Centennial College as a nursing professor since 2007 within the PN program, Collaborative BScN program and the RPN to BScN Bridging to University program. She completed her education through Durham College, Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University) and York University. She has been a member of the Review Ethics Board (REB) since 2019. Marsha has completed training and certifications including the CASN workshop series implementing the TRC Calls to Actions in Nursing Education; Introduction to Universal Design in Learning; First Nations Information Governance Centre (FNIGC) Fundamentals of OCAP; Canadian Red Cross Certifications (HCP, First Aid & CPR/AED) and the Tri-Council Policy Statement (TCPS 2) Certification. Marsha has also participated in research and collaboratively presented on ‘Nursing Students Experience with Accommodation’ at CASN and through Centennial College Mental Health on Campus.
