| Description | This course is designed give students a firm understanding of how a high pressured diesel fuel injection system works. Students will learn the principles and operations of a high pressure fuel system and the advantages of this system. Students will study the different types of fuel pumps, mechanical unit injectors in detail to recognize the role of each component in the system. Students will gain hands on experience of how to diagnose, inspect and repair these systems using the appropriate tools. Students will study the operation of the Electronic Injection system in detail. Students will gain knowledge about the superiority of this system have over a mechanical control fuel system. Students will also learn how the fuel to the engine is governed. |
