The Math Placement Assessment and English Language Skills Assessments in English and math ensure you are registered in the courses that best match your current skill level before your first semester begins. By completing these assessments, you may be able to upgrade your courses or access student support resources to get a head start on your academic journey.
After accepting an offer for a certificate or diploma program, you may be required to complete a Math Placement Assessment depending on your program. You will have the opportunity to write a Placement Skills Assessment for English Language Skills to confirm your first-semester English course. Based on the results, you will have the option to take an extra Communication course to support your learning, or you will have the option to skip a Communications course.
