The Assessment Centre recommends writing your Placement Skills Assessments on campus. If you would like to write your Placement Skills Assessment(s) online, we will provide you a voucher to write the assessment with our testing partner, ProctorU.
Students registered in online only or asynchronous programs will automatically be issued a ProctorU voucher. Please check your myCentennial and personal email addresses.
Steps to Write Placement Skills Assessments Online
- Fill out our Online Placement Skills Assessment Form.
- Receive an Accuplacer voucher code and instructions by email.
- Register on the ProctorU site using your voucher.
- Schedule your Placement Skills Assessment.
- Prepare ProctorU's testing requirements including technical checks, downloading the Guardian browser and preparing your space for the assessment.
- Log in to the ProctorU site at your scheduled test time.
Online Placement Assessments are conducted through our external partner. We are unable to provide technical support for these assessments. If you experience technical difficulties during your online Placement Skills Assessment, please contact ProctorU support.
