Labs at Morningside Campus
- View LabParamedic/Ambulance Simulation Lab
We are one of the only colleges in the GTA that has access to its own ambulance designed for student practice. Our paramedic students have the ability to run their simulations here.
- View LabMain Paramedic/Pre-fire Lab
Where paramedic and firefighter students perform day-to-day tasks of their jobs involving a lot of physical fitness components with lots of equipment for them to use.
- View LabMain Nursing Lab
Looks exactly like a hospital ward used by nursing students.
- View LabNursing Simulation Lab
Where students are prepared to respond to emergency situations or critical care situations. This lab functions like an emergency room. Professors are in the back in a Control Room area where they keep students on their toes and throw them different curveballs. The entire process is recorded. There is also a De-brief room where students can reflect on what went well and get feedback.
- View LabEsthetics Lab and Massage Therapy Labs
A public clinic available for people from the public to get facials, nails and massages performed by our students. *Noteworthy is the full service massage and Esthetician clinic where students and centennial community members can book appointments
- View LabPharmacy Aseptic Labs
Contains three types of labs: the first is a pharmacy-like community lab (similar to Rexall and Shoppers Drug Mart). The second lab is a hospital lab, and the third is an Asceptic Lab which is the most heavy-duty lab out of the three. Students practice doing a full surgical scrub before coming into this space, and they administer heavy duty work like chemotherapy.
