School of Apprenticeships

The School of Apprenticeships is a leader within Ontario’s apprenticeship system, delivering high-quality in-school training across automotive service technician (AST), autobody, truck and coach, heavy equipment, motorcycle, and light rail trades, as well as electrical and heating, refrigeration and air conditioning (HRAC) programs. From Level 1 through certification and Red Seal success, we support apprentices through industry-aligned, safety-focused curriculum, strong employer and industry partnerships, and the expertise of dedicated faculty and staff. Our graduates are skilled, job-ready professionals who meet Ontario’s workforce needs and contribute meaningfully to their workplaces, industries, and communities.

 


School of Motive Power and Trades

Motive Power is all about motion in machines and trades refers to skilled hands-on occupations. Put them together and you’re skillfully repairing cars, trucks, heavy machinery and almost anything with an engine. The world is fully involved with motive power. Looking at today’s motive power sector, millions of vehicles are moving goods, people or involved with road building or construction and will need maintenance and repair. Our well-equipped labs and industry trained, dedicated faculty will introduce you to the world of motive power and help you become skilled at working on motor vehicle systems from wheels, tires and tracks to advanced engine management and diagnostic procedures. Future ready courses such as electric vehicles are forefront in our programs and we have exactly what it takes to prepare you for an exciting career in vehicle repair and maintenance.
