"High-efficiency plumbing fixtures were used in this facility which result in a 25% reduction in water use," says Samantha Corway, Sustainability Manager, Centennial College. "This care extends outside the perimeter of the building as well; you will notice that our landscaped areas have been intentionally populated with native, climate resilient vegetation, which is watered by an irrigation system that uses 100% recycled rainwater, eliminating any new fresh water consumption outside."
