All members of the Centennial College community have the right to work, study and live in an environment free from any form of gender-based or sexual violence. The College provides training for both students and employees to build awareness and capacity for ending these forms of violence.
The self-paced module explains the different forms of sexual violence and sexual misconduct, examines the impact of sexual violence on individuals and communities, and outlines procedures for disclosing and reporting incidents of sexual violence or sexual misconduct at the College.
The module also examines power dynamics, consent, cyber-sexual violence and rape culture to locate sexual violence and sexual misconduct within larger systems of power and oppression.
Students can access the Sexual Violence Training on eCentennial. The module for employees is included among the compliance training on the Centennial Talent Academy.
Visit Sexual Violence Training for more information.
If you are experiencing any form of sexual or gender-based violence, resources are available from Centennial College at Sexual Violence and Sexual Misconduct Information and Support.
