Growing up, I never felt like I had anything to hide. My parents always made sure I knew I was loved and accepted for exactly who I am. In our home, being myself was never questioned, and I never had to "come out" because there was nothing to hide. Their love and support were constants in my life, allowing me to live authentically without fear.
When I started at Centennial College, I wasn’t sure what to expect. But from the moment I stepped onto campus, I felt something special. I was surrounded by people who celebrated me for who I am. My department staff, coaches, teammates, and other Centennial athletes were incredibly supportive, especially when I faced some tough moments this year. They were there for me, lifting me up and reminding me that I belonged. Centennial College became more than just a place of learning—it became a place where I was truly accepted and embraced. I'm so glad and proud to be a Centennial Colt.
