Milo Martin

Bookkeeping Student

I was born in a small town in Ontario but raised in Edmonton, Alberta. I am the youngest of three children and have a child of my own. My past is not easy to talk openly about; I have had to endure a lot and have some wild stories to tell my grandchildren. Certainly, if you ask anyone in the 2SLGBTQA+ community, there are few easy "coming out" stories to tell. For anyone struggling with their own journey, know you have a community waiting to cheer you on and support you when you are ready.

I will graduate from Centennial in 2025 with a certificate in Bookkeeping, from there...the world! Mostly kidding, I will be self-employed and hopefully living a sustainable lifestyle somewhere warm, on a beach! I am a passionate person about human rights and that will never change. The fact that we are still fighting for equality for all is quite frankly absurd. Everyone deserves a chance at success, not just the privileged.
